Snow route parking ban extended

WINNIPEG – Due to recent snow fall, the city will be starting a major snow clearing operation.
To allow for the snow clearing to run more smoothly, an extended snow route parking ban will be in effect as of 12 a.m. Friday.
The extension will increase the annual snow route parking ban by two hour. Parking will be prohibited on snow routes between midnight and 7 a.m.
The city is asking you to double check your street for either of the snow route signs pictured below.
Winnipeggers can also able to check the snow route map online, as well as on the Know Your Zone app, or by contacting 311.
Snow routes include main routes, bus routes, and collector streets.
Vehicles parked within a snow route may receive a $100 ticket and can be towed.
