Orange level thunderstorm watch issued for Winnipeg

An orange level severe thunderstorm watch is in place for Winnipeg.
Environment Canada issued the watch just after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, saying that “conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, damaging hail and heavy rain.”
If the storm does come, it is believed that it could produce hail and strong winds.
