Portion of Marion Street to remain closed through Sunday for emergency repairs

A portion of Marion Street will remain closed through Sunday as emergency repairs continue, the City of Winnipeg announced.

The closure extends from Archibald Street to Panet Road and Dawson Street North.

Local access will be maintained on either side of Dupuy Avenue during the closure, but the city is advising motorists to allow extra travel time when moving through the area.

Drivers are also encouraged to download the Waze app for real-time traffic updates. Winnipeg Transit routes will be rerouted while the repairs are underway.
