2 charged for trafficking drugs in Winnipeg’s Roslyn neighbourhood

Winnipeg police say two people have been charged after drugs and a firearm were seized from a home in the Roslyn neighbourhood.
WPS says officers executed a search warrant at a home on Wednesday, March 25, at a home along Roslyn Road and a second warrant for a 2022 Mitsubishi RVR.
During the searches, police were able to find and seize a loaded Smith & Wesson .40 calibre Taurus handgun, ammunition, 746 grams of heroin, 367 grams of cocaine, 386 grams of fentanyl, 67 grams of methamphetamine, over $1,200 in cash, a scale, packaging, and other drug paraphernalia.
The searches also led to four people being taken into custody, two of whom were later released without charges.
WPS says a 37-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been charged with a combined 21 charges, including possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
