4 people facing combined 83 charges after Winnipeg police seize weapons in the West End

Three men have been charged, and another is facing charges after Winnipeg police were able to find and seize weapons and drugs at a home in the West End neighbourhood.
WPS says just after 6 p.m. on March 22, officers executed a warrant at a home along Dominion Street, where they were able to find and seize the following:
- Approximately 171 grams of fentanyl (Estimated Street Value = $25,650)
- .40 caliber Smith & Wesson Pistol
- Diane Model 24 T05 Pellet Gun
- Airsoft Pistol
- Five Machetes
- Bear Spray
- Nun Chucks
- Metal bar filled with cement
- Cattle prod
- 102 rounds of assorted ammunition
- Scale
- Drug packaging materials
As a result, 12 people were taken into custody in connection with the findings. Despite this, WPS says eight people between 18 and 65-years-old were released without charges.
Three people — 54-year-old Sterling Clarence Beaulieu, 37-year-old Daniel James Kemball, and 41-year-old Veronica Lynda Faye Mallett — have all been charged with a combined 69 weapons-related charges.
Additionally, a 45-year-old man is facing 14 weapons-related charges. He has been released on two Undertakings.
