2 dead after being found injured: Winnipeg police

A 32-year-old man and a teenager are dead following a shooting in Winnipeg's North End on March 12. Francisca Oppong has more on what we know about the victims.

Winnipeg police say two people have died after being found injured Thursday evening.

WPS says around 5:30 p.m. on Mar. 12, officers responded to a gun call along Boyd Avenue near Charles Street.

When they arrived at the scene, two people — a man in his 30s and a teenage boy — were found and were taken to hospital in critical condition, where they later died from their injuries.

At this time, no arrests have been made, but an investigation is ongoing.
