Man charged for allegedly trafficking drugs in Portage la Prairie

Manitoba RCMP says a 31-year-old man has been charged for allegedly trafficking drugs in Portage la Prairie.
Mounties say around 3:35 p.m. on Sept. 10, patrol officers reportedly noticed suspicious activity along Saskatchewan Avenue West.
The man, who was previously known to police, was approached by the officers and was informed that he was under arrest.
Following this, the officers searched the man, where they found and seized 53 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 3 grams of fentanyl, along with other drug-related paraphernalia.
As a result, 31-year-old Paul Pugh, of Portage la Prairie, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
RCMP note that Pugh has been remanded in custody for a future court date.
