Just after 3 am on Sept.7th, police responded to an establishment in Windsor Park where an intoxicated 21-year-old woman was detained.

As police attempted to apply handcuffs, she resisted them and pulled her arms away. When she was in the backseat of the police car, she repeatedly kicked the safety divider between the front and back seat.

While officers attempted to restrain her legs, she kicked one of the officers in the chest and face, injuring the officer’s face.

The woman is now facing charges for resisting and assaulting a peace officer.

She was released on an appearance notice.
