Winnipeg police looking for 2 men believed to be involved in robbery, stabbing outside Fort Garry

Winnipeg police say they are looking for two men believed to be involved in a robbery and stabbing at Fort Garry on July 13.

WPS says on July 13, officers responded to a report of a robbery and a stabbing at the fort.

The man who was stabbed reportedly walked to a nearby hospital for treatment and was met there by police.

Through an investigation, officers learned that the man was working on a vehicle in the parking lot, when he was approached by two men who allegedly demanded his property, before he was punched and stabbed.

The man was later taken to another hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

Police believe that the two suspects fled on foot and that they might have been captured on dash cameras of passing vehicles.

One of the men has been described as in his early 20s, 5’4″ to 5’6″ in height, with long, dark curly hair. At the time, he was wearing a tank top, red shorts, and a gold chain.

The second man has been described as in his 20s, approximately 5’9″ in height, with a medium to large build. At the time, he was wearing dark shorts and a dark hoodie with the hood up.
