Winnipeg police seek suspects in fatal shooting of 23-year-old in West Broadway

Winnipeg police say a 23-year-old man has died after being shot over the weekend.
The Winnipeg Police Service says Jayden Laporte was meeting with a group of people at Balmoral and Spence streets on Sunday evening when “one of the suspects produced a firearm and shot the victim.”
Laporte sustained serious injuries and was brought to the Health Sciences Centre by family members. He died of his injuries.
The suspects remain on the loose.
Polce say Laporte was a member of Long Plain First Nation who had been living in Portage la Prairie.
