Teen in hospital following early morning shooting: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a 16-year-old boy is in hospital after being shot Tuesday morning.

WPS says officers responded to reports of a shooting along College Avenue near Salter Street around 3:26 a.m.

Police say at this time, it is unknown if the shooter fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The 16-year-old was taken to hospital in stable condition.
