Free access to Manitoba’s provincial parks over Labour Day weekend

Manitobans can access all provincial parks for free over the Labour Day weekend.

Vehicle permits will not be required from Sept. 4-7. Nightly camping fees remain in effect.

Environment and Climate Change Minister Mike Moyes made the announcement Monday.

“Whether you’re camping, hiking, paddling, spending time at the beach or attending an interpretive program, we welcome everyone to make the most of the long weekend in Manitoba’s provincial parks,” said Moyes.

The waived entrance fees do not apply to national parks.
