3 hospitalized after overnight blaze in Winnipeg’s north end

Three people were hospitalized after a fire broke out in a two-storey home in Winnipeg’s north end Saturday early morning.
Winnipeg fire crews responded to 911 call around 3:15 a.m. reporting that people may have been trapped inside a house on fire in the 500 block of Flora Avenue.
Upon arrival on scene firefighters discovered heavy smoke and flames coming from the house.
First responders rescued three residents from the house. All three were transported to hospital – one in unstable condition and two in stable condition.
The fire was declared under control in less than half an hour.
The cause of fire is currently under investigation and damage estimates are not available at this time.
