Manitoba crews battle 7 out-of-control wildfires in the province Monday

As of Monday, the province has responded to seven out-of-control wildfires in northern and eastern parts of Manitoba.

The blazes were among 21 that were active with a full or modified response from firefighters, the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre said in a summary on its website.

The largest out-of-control blaze, measuring about 20 hectares, was northeast of the community of Springwell in eastern Manitoba.

MB Ready did not list any evacuations as of Monday afternoon.
