Human remains found north of Winnipeg

Manitoba RCMP say a body was found in Riverton, Manitoba, Tuesday morning.

Mounties received a report regarding possible human remains that were found in the community, and a forensic team responded and confirmed that the remains were human.

An investigation is ongoing and RCMP notes that at this time, the remains have not been identified.
