Former CEBL MVP Teddy Allen is back in Winnipeg for the first time since the 2023 season, and he says he is ready to help make the Winnipeg Sea Bears champions again.

The 6’6′ forward is a familiar face in the CEBL. Allen played with the Scarborough Shooting Stars in 2022, the Saskatchewan Rattlers in 2024, who are now the Saskatoon Mamba. He also played a season in Winnipeg with the Sea Bears in 2023 and is making his way back to the ‘Peg for the 2026 season.

“Obviously, we’re excited to get Teddy back. He’s a familiar face. He’s someone that the fan base is going to be excited to get out and watch. He obviously has a skill set to score the ball, but I think in the last couple of years, especially, he showed that he’s always capable of impacting winning in multiple ways. He could find the open man; he can rebound the ball. We’re excited to have him back,” said Mike Raimbault, the head coach and general manager of the Winnipeg Sea Bears.

Allen has averaged 24.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game during his CEBL career and says he feels there’s unfinished business.

“It’s clear what I do, it’s clear what I could bring to the table, but I’ll be ready to attack at any role coach wants me to,” said Allen.

When asked why the comeback to Winnipeg, Allen’s answer was simple. It’s all about the fan base.

“We’re back, let’s get it, we’re back.”
