Winnipeg police seize $24,000 in drugs during traffic stop

Winnipeg police seized over $24,000 worth of street drugs during a traffic stop on Friday.

The 35-year-old male driver was allegedly impaired by drugs or alcohol and also wanted on outstanding warrants for suspension of parole or statutory release and being unlawfully at large.

Police seized crack cocaine, powder cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax and over $3,000 in cash.

The suspect faces multiple drug trafficking-related charges and remains in police custody.
