7 people arrested, drugs seized during Winnipeg police search of Weston home

Winnipeg police say seven people were arrested – six of whom are facing charges – following the search of a home in the Weston neighbourhood on Saturday.
The Winnipeg Police Service says the search was the result of a drug trafficking investigation that began last month.
Authorities say cocaine, various pills, multiple pistols, body armour and other weapons were seized in the search.
Four men and three women were inside the home and arrested. The suspects range in age from 19 to 61.
Six of them were charged with offences such as possession of cocaine for trafficking and possession of a weapon.
A 31-year-old woman was released without charge.
