Winnipeg youth facing charge for allegedly threatening school

Winnipeg police say a youth is facing charges after online threats were made involving an elementary school on Feb. 3.
WPS says they received a report regarding threats that had been made and began an investigation.
Through the investigation, police were able to identify a youth believed to be connected and took them into custody on Feb. 10.
WPS notes that no physical threats were discovered at the school, and there is no threat to public safety.
The youth is facing a charge of uttering threats causing death or bodily harm, and has been released on an Undertaking.
