21-year-old in critical condition after shooting at Daniel McIntyre home: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a 21-year-old man suffered a life-threatening upper-body injury in a shooting in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood on Wednesday morning.

The Winnipeg Police Service says the shooting happened at a home on Agnes Street near Wellington Avenue before 7 a.m.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he remains.

Authorities say due to his injuries, the homicide unit is investigating.

No arrests have been made.
