Winnipeg police say a 30-year-old man has been charged after failing to comply with a probation order that prevented him from being on Winnipeg Transit.
WPS says on Sunday, Jan. 11, officers received several reports that a man had boarded four Winnipeg Transit bus and allegedly smashed a window on each.
Each of the alleged incidents happened between 1:36 p.m. and 8;15 p.m. and were captured on video surveillance.
Around 8:39 p.m., patrol officers reportedly spotted the man believed to be connected and took him into custody near Main Street and Jarvis Avenue.
Police have since charged 30-year-old Jesse Albert Anton Jack with four counts of mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order. Police note that Jack had been court-ordered not to be on Winnipeg Transit property.
