57-year-old woman arrest for attempted robbery

A 57-year-old woman was arrested after having allegedly attempted to steal products from a store on Portage Avenue.
Police later established the woman’s link to a string of prior retail thefts, involving 14 separate incidents and costing over $4,000.
All incidents were captured on retailers’ security cameras and reported to police.
She was detained after being charged with theft under $5000 and 14 additional theft offences.
