Winnipeg police looking for 4 people after hotel was robbed at gunpoint

Winnipeg police are looking for four people after a hotel was robbed at gunpoint early Monday.

WPS says around 2 a.m. on Dec. 1, officers responded to a hotel along McPhillips Street near Notre Dame Avenue, after receiving a report of an armed robbery in progress.

It is believed that four people had entered the hotel lobby armed with handguns, threatened a front desk employee, damaged property, and broke into a cash register.

The four were able to flee with an undisclosed amount of money prior to the police arriving.

At this time, no arrests have been made. Police also note no injuries were reported during the incident.
