Four people arrested after police seize guns, $60,000 worth of drugs

On Oct. 15, Winnipeg Police executed search warrants in two apartment complexes, seizing almost two kilos of cocaine and almost 500 Percocet pills, with the estimated combined street value of nearly $60,000.

Police also seized multiple rifles, a revolver, a large amount of ammunition, and $45,000 in cash.

The drug bust became a result of a months-long investigation dating back to the summer, when investigators identified a coordinated drug trafficking network within the Saint Boniface neighbourhood which was supplying a large amount of illicit drugs to the downtown area.

33-year-old and 50-year-old men, as well as 21-year-old and 51-year-old women are facing several firearms and drug-related charges, all four were released on undertakings.
