Two break and enter suspects taken into custody after being spotted by AIR1

Two suspects were taken into police custody after being spotted fleeing the scene of a commercial break-in on Henderson Highway.

On October 10, just after 1 a.m., two suspects broke into a gas bar in the 1100 block of McLeod Avenue, stealing cash and cigarettes.

Less than an hour later, they broke into a commercial unit in the 200 block of Henderson Highway. Once inside, they broke through to an adjoining business and stole packages and electronics.

Police were alerted to the break-in on Henderson and responded with the K-9 unit and AIR1. AIR1 spotted the suspects attempting to flee, and ground units were able to arrest a male suspect on Hart Avenue and a female suspect on Noble Street.

The suspects were linked to three other commercial break-ins over the last month.

Christian Paul Lynxleg, 46, was charged with four counts of break enter and theft, and two counts of break and enter with intent. A 42-year-old woman is facing similar charges.
