Winnipeg Transit adds 15 minutes to transfer window

Winnipeg Transit is extending its transfer window by a quarter of an hour – beginning Monday.
Transfers will now be valid for 90 minutes instead of 75.
The change is being made following feedback from passengers, the city says.
“We’re continuing to make changes to transit based on what riders tell us,” said Mayor Scott Gillingham. “Extending the transfer window is one more step in a series of improvements to make the system more convenient and reliable for Winnipeggers.”
Passengers can request a transfer when they board a bus and pay the fare. Transfers can be used on any regular bus route until expiry.
