Three arrested in unruly behaviour at a Dauphin bar: RCMP

Three people were arrested after a call about an unruly behaviour in a Dauphin bar led to drug seizures, according to police.

Dauphin RCMP said in a press release that they arrested three suspects at a hotel in the area after they received a report of property damage and threatening customers with bear spray at a bar last Friday.

“A search warrant was executed in the hotel room and police seized a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, Canadian currency, knives, and drug paraphernalia,” the statement said.

Two of the individuals were identified as Deena Mintuck, 20, from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation and Melony Allarie, 21, from Roblin.

Both face several charges including, three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and assault with a weapon.

Additionally, Mintuck faces a charge of failure to comply with a release order condition, while Allarie faces breach of a recognizance charge.

A 23-year-old man from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation who was arrested that night was later released on an undertaking to appear in court.

Dauphin RCMP continue to investigate.
