Winnipeg police seek public’s help to recover stolen paintings worth $9,000

Winnipeg police is appealing to the public for information after two valuable paintings, valued at a combined $9,000, were stolen from a local warehouse.

Police say they learned that between 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 5:24 a.m. on Aug. 15, unknown suspect(s) broke into a warehouse in the 200 block of McDermot Ave., stole two paintings and fled the building.

The investigation is ongoing.
