3 in custody after Winnipeg police issue search warrant at encampment

Winnipeg police have arrested three people after executing a search warrant at an encampment near Waterfront Drive on Wednesday morning.

Police said they were not there to evict or clear out the encampment and were on scene throughout the day to search a specific structure.

Police say they have seized all of the property, which includes bicycle parts, and hope to provide an update in the coming days.
