Winnipeg police say two people have been charged, and a third is facing charges in connection to a drugs and firearms investigation.

An investigation into drugs and firearms through July led police to executing two search warrants at a home on July 20.

Police were able to find and seize over $112,000 of illicit drugs, including 129 grams of crack cocaine, 998 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of MDMA, 18 grams of Psilocybin, 500 ml Hydrocodone x 5, a loaded hand gun, an empty 50 round drum magazine, $1,100 in Canadian currency, scales, a money counter, and drug packaging.

At the time, a man and a woman were taken into custody.

The investigation continued, and on Aug. 1, a second man was taken into custody.

Police say 29-year-old Devin Dixon and 26-year-old Jayden Firth have been charged with several charges, including possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a scheduled substance, possession of proceeds of property obtained by a crime under $5,000, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition.

A 43-year-old woman is also facing similar charges.
