Man charged after Winnipeg police seize weapons, drugs from home

Winnipeg police say a 43-year-old man has been charged after a search warrant uncovered several weapons and some drugs at a home on Furby Street.
On July 31, police responded to a home along Furby Street near Sargent Avenue after receiving a report that drugs were being trafficked from the home.
Police executed a search warrant at the home at the home, where they found and seized the following:
- .22 caliber Sawed-off Rifle
- Improvised Firearm (Zip Gun)
- Paint Ball Pistol
- Air Pistols x 5
- Assorted Ammunition (12-Gauge, 9 mm, .22 Calibre Hollow Point)
- Bowie Knives x 3
- Canister of Bear Spray
- Collapsible Steel Baton
- Hatchet and Machete
- Approximately 90 Grams Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value: $22,000)
- 7 Grams Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value: $700)
- Scales and Packaging
- Approximately $112 CDN Currency
Following the search, 43-year-old Jerrold Elliott Miles McIvor was taken into custody.
Police say McIvor is facing numerous charges, including firearms, weapons, and drug trafficking-related charges, as well as breaches of an undertaking.
