Transportation Safety Board investigating crash of small plane in Dugald, Man.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the crash of a small plane east of Winnipeg.

The national safety agency released few details about the accident involving a privately registered Quad City Challenger 11 ultralight aircraft. 

The safety board says one person was involved in the incident that happened on Saturday in Dugald, a community about 25 kilometres east of Winnipeg. 

Oakbank RCMP confirmed they responded to a “small plane crash” around 11 a.m. 

Police did not immediately answer questions about the condition of the individual involved in the crash. 

TSB says it has deployed a team of investigators and is unable to share more information at this time.
