Man charged after allegedly pointing a gun at another driver

Winnipeg police say a 36-year-old man has been charged for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver.
WPS says around 2 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a report that a man was being followed by a former acquaintance near the Pembina Highway and Crescent Drive.
The report indicated that while the man was driving north on the Pembina Highway, the former acquaintance followed him closely, while pointing a gun at him. He then tried to turn the vehicle around, but continued to be followed.
This continued until the former acquaintance turned down a side street, and the man who was being followed then called police.
Following this, police went to a home along Briarlynn Road, where they took the former acquaintance into custody.
Since, 36-year-old Edgar Ricardo Borja Reyes has been charges with two counts of assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon, and three counts of failing to comply with contiditions of a release order.
