Winnipeg man dead after being found injured near Central Park

Winnipeg police say a man is dead after being found with serious injuries Friday morning near Central Park.

WPS responded to Cumberland Avenue and Hargrave Street after receiving a report that a man was injured.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 39-year-old man suffering from serious upper body injuries. The officers provided emergency medical care before the man could be taken to hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
