Winnipeg police say a 33-year-old man has been charged for allegedly exposing himself to school students earlier this week.
WPS says around 3:45 p.m. on May 20, officers responded to a school along Banning Street after receiving a report that a man was exposing himself.
After arriving at the school, police were informed that a man allegedly exposed himself to several minors who were on the school’s playground, and allegedly made “inappropriate requests” towards the students before staff intervened and contacted police.
Through an investigation, the man was identified and was taken into custody.
Since, 33-year-old Kevin Tibay Maliwanag has been charged with invitation to sexual touching and indecent exposure to a person under 16. He has since been released with conditions, including not having contact with anyone under 18.
