Fire in vacant home in Winnipeg

Firefighters with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to a blaze in a vacant two-storey home on the 600 block of Dudley Avenue at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Saturday night.
Crews arrived to find smoke and flames visible from the structure.
An exterior fire attack was initiated before firefighters moved inside once conditions allowed. The fire was brought under control within 25 minutes, at 10:34 p.m.
A search of the home confirmed no one was inside, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Authorities remind the public to call 911 if they see anyone entering or tampering with vacant buildings.
