Pedestrian killed in West End collision: WPS

Winnipeg police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed on Saturday night.

The Winnipeg Police Service says it happened near the intersection of McPhillips Street and Notre Dame Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

Authorities did not provide any information about the victim in a brief news release.

They also did not indicate if they have identified a suspect, or if it’s being considered a hit and run.

The WPS traffic division is investigating. Police are asking anyone with information or video footage of the incident to call investigators at 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
