Sherburn Street deaths: Winnipeg police say man killed 22-year-old partner, then self

Winnipeg police say the deaths of a woman and man in their 20s in a “domestic incident” on Monday was a murder-suicide.
The Winnipeg Police Service says the victim was identified as 22-year-old Nadia Flett-Carriere, a member of God’s Lake First Nation living in Winnipeg.
The man was a 27-year-old from Winnipeg.
Authorities were called to the Sherburn Street home in the afternoon, where they found Flett-Carriere and the man in medical distress. They were taken to hospital in critical condition, where they died of their injuries.
