Man charged in connection to West End homicide: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a 56-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Brenton Sean Paul Harper.

On Apr. 1, officers were called to Agnes Street near Ellice Avenue for the report of shots fired around 12:55 a.m.

When they arrived at the scene, they found Harper suffering from injuries consistent with being shot.

Through an investigation, police were able to identify a man believed to be involved, and he was taken into custody on Apr. 22.

Since, 56-year-old Christopher Erickson has been charged with second degree murder.
