Teen charged after allegedly carrying gun at CF Polo Park Mall

Winnipeg police say a 15-year-old has been charged with allegedly carrying a gun at CF Polo Park Mall on Tuesday afternoon.
WPS says officers responded to the mall just before 3 p.m. after receiving reports that several teens were seen carrying a handgun.
Additional reports from mall security also indicated that the gun had been fired within the mall.
Officers responded to the mall and were directed to the food court, where they took two teens into custody.
Police note that an airsoft pistol was seized at the time, and notes that no injuries were reported.
Since, a 15-year-old has been charged with possession of a weapon and causing a disturbance. He has since been released on an undertaking. The other teen was also released on his own recognizance without charges.
