Winnipeg Jets fans can rejoice.
That’s because the return of the Whiteout Street Parties is upon us.
True North Sports and Entertainment announced Tuesday that 5,000 fans will be able to converge on Donald Street, between Portage Avenue and Graham Avenue.
“The Winnipeg Whiteout Street Parties have become part of our city’s Whiteout traditions,” said Kevin Donnelly, True North’s Senior Vice President of Venues and Entertainment, in a news release.
“Our fans created the Whiteout, evolved it to the phenomenon it is today and continue to be the essence of the Winnipeg Jets’ playoff celebrations. The Whiteout Street Parties are more than just a celebration of our team, they are a celebration of our fans and their desire to share their excitement and passion for our team in a community setting.”

Tickets for the events, which will take place during every Jets’ home playoff game, are $10 with 50 per cent of each admission being donated back into the community through United Way Winnipeg.
JP Perron, the United Way Winnipeg 2025 Campaign Chair, offered thanks to the True North, the NHL club and of course, the fans, who contribute to the community through the events.
“Your love for the Jets is making a real, lasting difference,” he said in a news release.
“It’s been amazing to team up with The Jets and True North on this. Their commitment to the community is inspiring, and I’m so grateful for the positive impact they’re helping create for Winnipeggers.”
The Government of Manitoba will also be contributing $300,000 to the celebrations.

Hoping for a “lengthy playoff run” Premier Wab Kinew and Minister of Sport, Culture, Heritage and Tourism Nellie Kennedy say the parties not only offer fans an unforgettable playoff experience, but also boosts the local Downtown economy.
“Winnipeg has the best fans in the NHL and we can’t wait to see downtown buzzing with energy,” said Kennedy.
“By partnering with True North Sports and Entertainment, we’re helping to create safe events downtown that allow neighbours to connect, support local business and create lasting memories as we support our Winnipeg Jets.”
Dates for playoff games has yet to be determined, but tickets for home games will go on sale through True North on April 11.
