Winnipeg firefighters respond to blaze on Ellice Avenue

Winnipeg firefighters responded to a monitored alarm in a three-storey apartment building in the 600 block of Ellice Avenue on Monday.
At around 6:46 p.m., crews arrived at the scene to find smoke in the building. Upon investigation, they located a fire in one of the suites.
The fire was declared under control at 7:14 p.m.
All occupants safely self-evacuated from the building and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
