Man hospitalized after stabbing in Winnipeg

Winnipeg police say a 23-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed multiple times on Friday night.

WPS says around 8:30 p.m. on Mar. 8, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a store along Maryland Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a 23-year-old suffering from multiple stab wounds. The officers reportedly provided medical care before paramedics arrived and took the man to hospital in unstable condition. The man has since been upgraded to stable after undergoing surgery.
