Man killed after being hit by train west of Winnipeg

Manitoba RCMP says a Winnipeg man is dead after being hit by a train in the RM of Headingley Sunday night.

Around 8:15 p.m. on Mar. 2, Mounties responded to a report that a pedestrian had been hit by a train near the Hall Road crossing, off Wilkes Avenue.

RCMP alongside CN Police Service, EMS, and fire crews responded and found a 32-year-old man dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
