Man facing charges in connection to fatal collision in mid-February: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a 29-year-old man is facing charges in connection to a fatal collision on Feb. 11.

Around 10:15 p.m. on Feb. 11, officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at Lagimodiere Boulevard and Cottonwood Road.

One driver — a man in his 40s — was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police say he later died from his injuries.

The other driver — a man in his 20s — was also taken to hospital in stable condition.

Since, police say a 29-year-old is facing charges for driving carelessly causing death, and driving suspended/disqualified.
