Winnipeg man charged for breaking prohibition order by carrying airsoft pistol

Winnipeg police say a man has been charged and a woman is facing a charge after being found with an airsoft pistol over the weekend.
WPS says around 8:45 p.m. on Feb. 23, officers responded to an apartment complex along Kennedy Street near Ellice Avenue after receiving a report from building security that a man had a firearm.
When police arrived at the apartment complex, they found a man a woman who were believed to be in question, within one of the suites, and both were taken into custody.
Police were able to find the weapon, and confirmed that it was a black airsoft pistol.
Since, 43-year-old Anthony Earl Daniel Ross has been charged with possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order.
A 21-year-old woman is also facing a charge of failing to comply with a probation order.
