Bear spray and weapon used in parking lot fight at Marion Hotel

Winnipeg police are investigating a fight that broke out in the Marion Hotel parking lot Sunday morning in the 300 block of Marion Street
Police were called to the area just before 2:30 a.m. The fight allegedly escalated and several people were bear sprayed, and a 31-year-old woman was assaulted with a weapon.
The woman was taken to hospital in unstable condition, but later upgraded to stable. Five people were treated for the effects of bear spray.
Suspects have not been identified yet as they fled by foot before officers arrived.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit or Crime Stoppers.
