Manitoba RCMP says two people are in custody after a pair of drug busts at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport in December.
Mounties say on Dec. 19, 32-year-old Kenneth Ross of Gods Lake Narrows was taken into custody when attempting to board a flight to Gods River.
Police searched Ross, and were able to find 49 grams of methamphetamine.
On Dec. 22, 30-year-old Tanya Okemow from Gods River was also taken into custody while trying to board a flight home, after she had a package seized by security.
The package reportedly contained 67 grams of cocaine and 56 grams of methamphetamine.
Both Ross and Okenow are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Mounties believe the street value of the drugs seized is worth $50,000 to $70,000.
