68-year-old cyclist struck by vehicle in Winnipeg

A 68-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on Friday while cycling at approximately 3:25 p.m, on Springfield Road and Karen Street.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable condition, with serious injuries, says Winnipeg police.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.

The investigation is ongoing.
