3rd suspect charged in fatal shooting of Winnipeg man in August

By News Staff

A third person has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of a 32-year-old Winnipeg man earlier this year.

The Winnipeg Police Service says Colin Bernardin Hebert died in hospital after being injured in a shooting on Redwood Avenue on Aug. 7.

Two suspects – Pierre Flett and Jared Jackson Bushie – had previously been charged with second-degree murder. Flett was also charged with multiple weapon and drug offences.

The WPS says Raine Janelle Dakota Gauthier, 28, has now also been charged and detained in custody.

Police allege Gauthier knew Bernardin Hebert.
